(BLACKFOOT) – Two people were hospitalized Wednesday after a Snake River School District Bus rear-ended a car along State Highway 39. Tyler Andersen has more.
Idaho State Police say 66-year-old bus driver Roberta Martin was trying to get a student to sit down and didn’t realize the traffic was quickly stopping in front of her. The bus crashed into a 2009 Chevy Impala driven by 35-year-old Jimmie Grant of Blackfoot. Two of Grant’s passengers were taken to Bingham Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one on the bus was injured, though traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour while the crash was investigated.
