(BOISE) – It’s been nearly a month since Idaho’s wolf hunting season opened. Fish and Game officials say 26 wolves have been reported killed over the last several weeks, with most of the harvests taking place in central and northern Idaho. In eastern Idaho, four wolves have been taken in the Island Park area. Officials say most of the kills have been in areas with established packs rather than solitary numbers.
