No Charges for Brothers in Sister’s BB Gun Death

(LEWISTON, Utah) – Charges will not be filed against two northern Utah boys accused of shooting and killing their 4-year-old sister with a BB gun. Authorities say Karely Arzeta-Reyes suffered a fatal head injury after the shooting Aug. 17 in Lewiston. Sheriff’s deputies say the girl’s 11-year-old and 9-year-old brothers were pumping their BB guns and shooting her with air. A BB that was still in one of the guns accidentally discharged. The girl died a day later.
