Rocky Mountain Power Proposes Rate Change Plan
Published at(AMMON) – Rocky Mountain Power is proposing a rate increase. The utility company is proposing a two-year plan that would raise prices more than 10 percent by 2013. KIDK reports that the request to the state comes less than a year after the company raised its rates by nearly 7 percent. A company spokesperson says Rocky Mountain Power has made cuts elsewhere to maintain quality, affordable service. Public hearings have been set for Oct. 26 in Grace and Oct. 27 in Rexburg.
