Former Marshall University Football Player Talks About 1970 Plane Crash

In 1970, 75 people in a chartered DC-9 plane, carrying members of the Marshall University Football team, coaches, administrators and staff; crashed just shy of the runway in Huntington, West Virginia on a cold, foggy night. Forty-one years ago this week. Here is a portion of an exclusive Newstalk 690 and 1260 interview done with Craig Greenlee, a member of the football program during that time, wh0 was not with the team that fateful night. He has written a book to fill-in some of the gaps and expound on elements that the movie, “We Are Marshall”, did not touch on.
