IFPD Gets $5,000 Grant

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho Falls Police Department received a $5,000 grant from Wal-Mart for the the department’s Community Night Out. KPVI reports that the grant will go toward funding next year’s event, which is aimed at promoting crime prevention, safety, and unity for the city of Idaho Falls. 52 Ammon Wal-Mart Associates gave 331 hours of service during this year’s event in August.
