Flyers Captain Pronger Done for Season
Published at(MONTREAL) — Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger will miss the rest of the regular season and the playoffs with severe post-concussion symptoms.
The team made the decision after meeting with concussion specialists.
Pronger, 37, had been sidelined since Nov. 19 and played in only 13 games this season. He is an 18-year veteran who won the Stanley Cup with Anaheim in 2007 and also won two Olympic gold medals with Canada.
