Former Fort Hall Cop Awarded $717K

(FORT HALL) – A former Fort Hall police officer has been awarded nearly three-quarters of a million dollars after suffering a career-ending back injury. Nicolas Garcia said he’d rather continue working than have the money. Garcia was given $717,000 in lost wages and damages by a Pocatello jury after being hit by another vehicle in his patrol car over four years ago.
