Penguins Sidney Crosby Still Experiencing Concussion Symptoms
Published at(NEW YORK) — Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby’s return to the ice is still unclear. According to head coach Dan Bylsma, Crosby is still experiencing concussion related symptoms after being sidelined earlier this month; he suffered another concussion in a hard hit last season as well.
Crosby hasn’t played since December 5 when collided with Boston Bruins center David Krejci. Only one day after the collision, Crosby developed a headache, and has been recovering ever since.
The 24-year old Crosby initially hurt himself last January when he suffered concussions in consecutive games. He didn’t return until mid-November. In eight games played this season, Crosby totaled 12 points.
