Pitt Hiring Wisconsin Assistant Chryst as Head Coach
Published at(PITTSBURGH) — Pitt will hire Wisconsin offensive coordinator Paul Chryst as its new head football coach. Chryst, the Badgers’ offensive coordinator since 2005, replaces Todd Graham, who left Pitt after one season to take the Arizona State job.
This season, Wisconsin averaged 44.6 points per game, fourth in the nation. Earlier in his coaching career, Chryst spent time as an assistant with Oregon State and the San Diego Chargers.
