(FORT HALL) – The Fort Hall Indian Reservation now has its own transit system, all thanks to federal grants. Tribal members tell KIDK that it’s a solution to a problem in Fort Hall. Authorities used over a half-million dollars in grant money to purchase a small fleet of four buses. They say it will also assist kids participating in after-school activities in Pocatello, who without the new buses, might have been left out. As of now, tickets are only $1. The transit system is also being made available to non-tribal members.
