Giants’ Manning Leaves Practice with Stomach Bug

Elsa/Getty Images(East Rutherford, NJ) — New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning had to leave practice Wednesday because he felt sick.
“Eli started the practice but didn’t finish it,” Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said Wednesday. “He has a stomach bug. Hopefully it’s just a 24 hour deal and he’ll feel better tomorrow.”
Manning is having a career season this year. He threw for 4,993 yards and 29 touchdowns during the regular season. So far this postseason, Eli has three touchdown passes in both playoff victories over the Falcons and Packers.
