Kristen Wiig Says ‘Bridesmaids’ Sequel Not Planned

Michael Caulfield/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Kristen Wiig is putting her Golden Globe-nominated comedy Bridesmaids in her rearview mirror.
There’s been talk this month of a potential sequel to Bridesmaids, but Wiig, who co-wrote and starred in the hit film, has made it clear that it’s not in her plans.
She tells E! Online, “We had a special time making the first one, but we’re really excited to try something else.”
Bridesmaids director Paul Feig told Entertainment Weekly recently that he’d “love” to make a sequel, but only if it was, “as good or better than the original.”
