Nebraska Man Sentenced in Fort Hall Assault

(POCATELLO) – A Nebraska man has been sentenced to 38 months in prison for assaulting a Fort Hall woman nearly two years ago. 36-year-old Ivan Redhorn was accused of intentionally beating a woman over the head with a baseball bat on May 9, 2010. Prosecutors say the assault left the victim with two skull fractures and a ruptured eardrum. Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Redhorn to pay over $1,200 in restitution. The case was investigated by the FBI and Fort Hall Tribal Police.
