Packers Season Comes to an End
Published at(GREEN BAY, WI) — A fantastic season has come to the end for the Green Bay Packers. They were defeated by the New York Giants, 37-20, in their NFC Divsional playoff game on Sunday.
The loss ends Green Bay’s chances of becoming only the 2nd team this century to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
The Packers finished the season 15-1 and scored the second most points ever in an NFL season.
Nevertheless, the Pack lost.
“It’s all-most like college basketball,” Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk said. “You get in the tournament and it’s how far you go in there. It’s the same feeling I think. It almost erases what you did in the regular season.”
The Packers become the eighth #1 seed to lose in the Divisional playoff round since 2006.
