Rocky Mountain Power to Fully Refund Wrong Taxes
Published at(RIGBY) – Rocky Mountain Power officials say they’re willing to grant a full refund to customers wrongly charged a Rigby franchise tax. A spokesperson for the company told Local News 8 Friday that there was a three-year statute for refunds on utility bills, but that statute will be waved. The decision comes after the company reached an agreement with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. Most of the affected customers will receive refunds from as early as 2005. The city of Rigby denies any wrongdoing in the case.
