Ryan O’Neal’s Son Griffin Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery

Scott Kirkland/FilmMagic(SAN DIEGO) — Ryan O’Neal’s son Griffin O’Neal was in a San Diego jail Thursday following his arrest on New Year’s Eve for alleged misdemeanor domestic battery. According to UTSanDiego.com, a family member called 911 on Dec. 31 to report a disturbance stemming from a person having had too much to drink at O’Neal’s Ramona, Calif. home. After speaking with witnesses, deputies determined that the 47-year-old O’Neal was being aggressive towards his wife. As of Thursday night, he was being held at San Diego Central Jail on $10,000 bail.
O’Neal is scheduled to be sentenced next week in connection with an unrelated case in which he drove under the influence of drugs last year, resulting in an accident that injured another driver.
Another of Ryan O’Neal’s sons, Redmond O’Neal, has also had his share of legal problems due to a drug addiction.
