Source: Colon Agrees to a One Year Deal With the A’s

Gregory Shamus/MLBPA via Getty Images(OAKLAND, Ca) — A major league source told ESPN.com that pitcher Bartolo Colon has agreed to a one year deal with the Oakland Athletics.
The 38 year old right hander, had one of his best seasons in a while last year. He pitched just over 164 innings for the Yankees with an ERA of 4 while compiling 135 strikeouts and just 40 walks. It was the first time Colon had pitched over 100 innings in a season since 2005, when he won the AL Cy Young as an Angel.
This would be Colons eighth major league team he’s played for.
