Anthony has been out since Feb. 6 with a strained right groin and has had a front-row seat to his teammate Jeremy Lin’s performance.

“I love it, I’m a part of it,” said Anthony.  “Everybody’s been looking for this; everybody’s been looking to see who was going to be New York’s next point guard.  Jeremy Lin got the opportunity and he’s taking advantage of it.”

But fans do not think that Anthony and Lin will be able to co-exist once Anthony returns from his injury.

“I’m human at the end of the day; I know I’m not a selfish player.  People around me know I’m not a selfish player.  I do everything I can to try and make sure people know I’m not a selfish player.”

He did add that he feels that once he returns to the lineup, he will be able to take some pressure off Lin and the rest of the team.  He also said that he would still like to take the last shot with the game on the line.
