Bike Bill Passed Committee

(POCATELLO) – A bill aimed at making bicycling safer is one step closer to becoming a law. Local News 8 reports that Rep. Roy Lacey of Pocatello is proposing a bill that would require cars to drive at least three feet away from cyclists, joggers, horse-riders, and those in wheelchairs. Lacey says he’s pleased with the bipartisan support he’s received so far. The bill will now move to the House Transportation Committee.
