Rondo’s Triple Double Leads Celtics Over Bulls
Published at(BOSTON) — Rajon Rondo’s triple double helped lead the Boston Celtics (15-12) to a 95-91 victory over the Eastern Conference leading Chicago Bulls (23-7), Sunday.
Rondo finished with 32 points, 10 boards and 15 assists.
“I just wanted to be aggressive,” Rondo said. “I didn’t set the tone last game. I didn’t play as well as I wanted to, so tonight I wanted to come out and give my team a boost offensively and defensively.”
The Bulls were without last years MVP Derrick Rose who is experiencing back issues. Rose will be evaluated by a back specialist Monday when he returns to Chicago.
