It would be the second million dollar fundraising day in a row for the former Pennsylvania senator, who swept GOP presidential caucuses in Colorado and Minnesota and a primary in Missouri Tuesday.

Santorum’s Communications Director Hogan Gidley told ABC News early in the afternoon that the Santorum campaign was, “well on their way to their second million dollar day.”

Activity on Santorum’s campaign website is higher than it was after the Iowa caucuses, he said. It originally appeared that Santorum came in second in Iowa, losing to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by eight votes. Two weeks later, the Iowa Republican party announced that after a recount Santorum had won by 34 votes.

On Thursday, Santorum said the million dollars they raised was all online and Gidley confirmed that these numbers do not take into account the Texas fundraisers they attended Wednesday.
