(BOISE) – Republican Sen. Jeff Siddoway of Terreton is drawing harsh criticism, and even death threats from wildlife activists upset about his proposed wolf hunting legislation.  Siddoway’s bill would allow wolf hunting from ultralight aircraft and the use of live bait.  Opponents contend the live bait aspect of the bill is archaic and inhumane.  Siddoway, himself a rancher, says the bill would give ranchers more freedom to protect livestock.
