Breyer was with his wife, Dr. Joanna Breyer, and guests when an armed intruder broke into their vacation home. The intruder was armed with a machete. He took $1,000 but no one was hurt.

The Supreme Court is currently on break. The justices will meet behind closed doors this Friday for their conference and will take the bench for arguments on Feb. 21. Breyer is no longer in Nevis, according to the Supreme Court spokeswoman.
