(Sandra Rose/Getty Images)(LOS ANGELES) — Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was transported from the Beverly Hilton Hotel to the hospital Sunday afternoon as she copes with the loss of her mother, police said.

Beverly Hills Police told ABC News that an ambulance was called Sunday morning to the hotel, where Bobbi Kristina was staying with her mother, in response to a concern about her health. The 19-year-old was said to be suffering from anxiety.

According to a press release sent to ABC News, Bobbi Kristina was transported from the hotel at 10:26 a.m. local time to Cedar-Sinai Hospital and was “awake and alert” at the time.

A source close to the family tells ABC News that Bobbi Kristina has been released and was “treated for stress and anxiety.”

In the hours after her mother was discovered not breathing in the bathtub of a Beverly Hilton Hotel room, Bobbi Kristina was reportedly turned away from seeing her.

Earlier, TMZ reported that Bobbi Kristina got into a shouting match with police officers outside her mother’s fourth floor hotel room when they informed her no one was allowed in. TMZ said she “screamed, cursed and demanded to see her mother” before ultimately leaving.

Houston’s cousin Dionne Warwick was also turned away by officers, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown, released a statement on his ex-wife’s death.

“I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston,” Brown said in the statement. “At this time, we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi- Kristina. I appreciate all of the condolences that have been directed towards my family and I at this most difficult time.”
