A Man in Rigby Drives His Truck Off The Road and On To A Wire

(JEFFERSON COUNTY, ID) A man had to be rescued by scissor-lift Wednesday afternoon, after he drove his pickup truck onto a guy-wire in Jefferson County. The man was driving east on 42-hundred East near Krupp Scout Camp, east of Rigby, when he couldn’t negotiate a corner, left the roadway and ended up on the power-pole’s wires. Local News 8 reports the man had to be brought down by a scissor-lift due to how the truck was stuck. Sheriff’s Deputies say speed was the cause of the mishap. There was minimal damage to the vehicle and pole. The man was not injured.
