Andrew Breitbart’s Death a ‘Huge Loss,’ Santorum Says

Andrew Burton/Getty Images(DALTON, Ga.) — After a speech where he focused on mostly social issues and urged Georgians to make this a “two man race” by voting for him on Super Tuesday, the press asked Rick Santorum about the death of Andrew Breitbart.
“Really? Oh, I’m crestfallen — that’s terrible. Do you know what happened?” Santorum asked the press. “Oh, that’s shocking. Obviously prayers go to him and his family and it’s a big shock. What a powerful voice.”
News of the conservative political activist and blogger’s death broke in the middle of his speech at city hall.
He continued, “What a huge loss, in my opinion, for our country and certainly for the conservative movement.”
