Brodeur Notches his 650th Career Win

A.J. Messier/NHLI via Getty Images(NEWARK, N.J.) — Martin Brodeur made 18 saves and notched his 650th career win as the New Jersey Devils (40-24-5) beat the Philadelphia Flyers (39-22-7) 4-1.

“It’s unreal,” teammate Zach Parise said. “Our goaltending has been great and Marty has been playing really well. It does seem like just yesterday he got 551. It’s gone by fast.”

Parise is referring to when Brodeur broke goalie Patrick Roy’s record of 551 victories in 2009.

Brodeur, who will turn 40 in May, has a 25-17-3 record with a 2.43 GAA and a .905 SV% for the season.
