(LOS ANGELES) — Charlie Sheen’s Two and a Half Men character is set to return to the CBS sitcom in an episode airing April 30. Sheen won’t reprise the role of Charlie Harper, though.
Instead, it will be Kathy Bates playing Charlie — actually, the ghost of Charlie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The ghost visits Charlie’s brother, Jon Cryer’s Alan, in the hospital after the latter suffers a heart attack.
Charlie Harper was killed off in the first episode of the current season due to Sheen’s firing from the show. Ashton Kutcher replaced Sheen and portrays billionaire Walden Schmidt.
