Drunk Driver Crashes Into Rexburg Church

(REXBURG) – Drunk driving is believed to have played a factor in an accident in Rexburg early Tuesday morning. Rexburg police say a pickup registered to Tyson J. Moore of Idaho Falls was found abandoned after crashing into an LDS church on Summerwood Drive. Authorities believe the driver was traveling west on Second North into the Summerwood lot when they jumped the curb, took out a tree, and crashed into the building. The driver and a possible passenger left the scene, but have not yet been found.
