Jobless Claims Fall Again, Now Stand at 348,000
Published at | Updated at(WASHINGTON) — Jobless claims continued to fall last week, maintaining its lowest level since 2008, the Labor Department reported Thursday.
For the week ending March 17, the number of people filing for benefits dropped by 5,000 to 348,000. The previous week, claims stood at 353,000.
The four-week average also took a small dip, falling by 1,250 to 355,000.
