“Mad Men” Kicks Off New Season Sunday Night

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Mad Men fans have waited a year and a half for the Emmy-winning drama to return to AMC. The countdown ends this Sunday night, when the show’s fifth season begins with a two-hour episode, airing at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time.
When we last saw the employees of the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce advertising agency, Jon Hamm’s womanizing executive Don Draper stunned his colleagues by announcing his engagement to his secretary, Megan.
Series creator Matthew Weiner says the new season will be an exciting one.
He says, “I think there’s this incredible new chapter in their life and a lot of twists.”
