(REXBURG) – An agreement between Rexburg and BYU-Idaho to start curbside recycling is proving to be successful so far.  The city’s pilot program has had overwhelming support from participants, and plans are in the works to expand the program.  The city currently spends about $500,000 a year dumping trash, and with help from the university, that amount may decrease.  The program could be adopted city-wide by the end of the summer.
