Experts Weigh in on East Idaho Earthquake Danger

Experts tell Local News 8 that in spite of shifting tectonic plates relatively close by, Idaho’s seismic movement has remained normal. They say the chances of a major earthquake hitting any time soon are minimal. Idaho’s last big temblor struck the Lost River Range in 1983, measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale and killing two people.
