Idaho Falls Man Arrested After Standoff

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls man was arrested Friday night after a standoff with police. 31-year-old Jared Buchanan was reportedly threatening people with a gun outside the Blue Wave Bar. Buchanan had been asked to leave after allegedly attacking a waitress. Police shot Buchanan with a gas gun and a bean bag gun to disarm him. He has since been charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of battery.
