Idaho’s Aging Workforce Creates Challenges

(BOISE) – The impending retirement for many in Idaho’s workforce is forcing employers to think about the future generation of employees. Over 60 percent of Idaho’s workforce is expected to retire from companies such as Idaho Power within the next decade. State leaders say they’re considering a plan to make workforce funds available for companies to train new employees, as “baby boomers” head into retirement.
