“This is the average American taxpayer feeding big government,” the same little girl says in the ad as a farmer feeds chickens.

Before long, the chickens attack the farmer until all that’s left of him is a bone.

The bottom of the YouTube video, created by Cain Solutions, reads: “The farmer is fine, but the average American taxpayer isn’t!”

Cain released a Web video last month showing a man shooting a rabbit that is catapulted into the air, while the girl says, “This is small business under the current tax code.”

In another ad, the girl says, “This is the economy on the stimulus,” as a goldfish gasps for air on dry land. Cain and his team have insisted that no animals were harmed in the production of the videos.

In a conference call Tuesday night with reporters, Cain said the ads are intended to be provocative and garner attention, according to the Daily Caller.

“If I went out there with namby-pamby ads to drive home a point, nobody would notice,” he said, adding that he blames liberals for the controversy surrounding the videos.

“The liberals are trying to paint this as I’m killing animals,” he said. “I point out to them that the goldfish is still alive. We didn’t kill the goldfish.”

As for the rabbit? It was not real, Cain said.

Despite the swirling controversy, Cain promised Tuesday to continue making Web ads to criticize economic issues.
