The win clinched Orlando its sixth straight trip to the post season.

Point guard Jameer Nelson led the Magic with 21 points and nine assists.

“A lot of these guys have been in the playoffs every year and you can take it for granted, but it’s nice to have it done with six games left,” Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy said. “This was a really, really, really good win for us. Tonight was very satisfying.”

The win wasn’t without some disappointment. Magic big man Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis went down in the first quarter with a sprained right knee. He didn’t return to the game and will be further examined Monday.

Forward Antawan Jamison scored 21 points in the loss.
