Married Couple Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick Distant Cousins?

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) — The husband-and-wife duo of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are closer to one another than you think.
Bacon and his wife, who stars on the TNT drama The Closer, are also distant cousins, the PBS series Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. has discovered, according to Zap2it.com. Host Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr. is quoted as saying, “[T]alk about six degrees of separation, right?”
Bacon and Sedgwick have been married for 23 years. They have two adult children together.
Finding Your Roots airs Sunday nights on PBS.
