Report: Britney Spears ‘Close’ to “X Factor” Deal

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — Those rumors that Britney Spears will join The X Factor have not died down.
Deadline.com reports Spears is “close to a deal” to serve as a judge on the Fox singing competition this year. The website says Spears could earn between $12 million and $15 million, an increase from the $10 million she reportedly was initially offered.
Spears has been rumored to be in The X Factor mix since late February.
