The St. Louis Blues blanked the San Jose Sharks, 3-0. (Series Tied 1-1).

The Chicago Blackhawks stunned the Phoenix Coyotes, in overtime, 4-3.  (Series Tied 1-1).

MLB: NL: The New York Mets (6-2) shut out the Philadelphia Phillies (3-5), 5-0.

The Washington Nationals (7-2) took care of the Cincinnati Reds (3-6), 4-1.

The St. Louis Cardinals (6-3) dumped the Chicago Cubs (3-6), 5-1.

The Houston Astros (4-4) edged the Miami Marlins (3-6), 5-4.

The Atlanta Braves (4-4) trimmed the Milwaukee Brewers (4-5), 2-1.
