MLB: NL: The New York Mets (11-8) walked off on the Miami Marlins (7-11), 3-2.

The San Francisco Giants (10-9) edged the Cincinnati Reds (9-10), 6-5.

The San Diego Padres (6-14) surprised the Washington Nationals (14-5), 2-1.

AL: The Kansas City Royals (5-14) doubled up the Cleveland Indians (9-8), 4-2.

The Seattle Mariners (10-10) sliced the Detroit Tigers (10-9), 5-4.

The Tampa Bay Rays (12-7) topped the Anaheim Angels (6-13), 4-3.

The Baltimore Orioles (12-7) got past the Toronto Blue Jays (10-9), 5-2.

The Boston Red Sox (8-10) outslugged the the Chicago White Sox (10-9), 10-3.
