The St. Louis Blues Advance In The NHL Playoffs

Mark Buckner/NHLI via Getty Images(ST. LOUIS) — The Blues are moving on in the Stanley Cup playoffs. St. Louis closed out their first round series against the San Jose Sharks Saturday night with a 3-1 Game 5 victory.
St. Louis entered the third period down 1-0, but goals by forwards Jamie Langenbrunner and David Perron in the span of 45 seconds gave them the lead for good.
Blues goaltender Brian Elliott stopped 26 of 27 shots.
