Trial Set for Ex-Principal

(BLACKFOOT) – Bingham County officials have set a trial date for the former Snake River Junior High School principal accused of sexual abuse. Christopher Cox has pleaded not guilty to three felony counts of sex abuse of a minor under the age of 16. Judge Greg Moeller also amended a court order prohibiting Cox from having any contact with children other than his own. Cox will now be allowed to have supervised contact with one other family, but won’t be allowed to attend church or visit places where children might be present. The jury trial begins July 11.
