LeGrand’s former coach at Rutgers, Greg Schiano, is in his first year as Tampa Bay’s head coach. The Bucs will assign LeGrand jersey number 52, the same number he wore in college.

LeGrand was paralyzed when he suffered vertebrae and spinal cord injuries during a game against Army on October 16, 2010.  He is planning to graduate college in the fall with a degree in labor studies.
