Chris Bosh Expected to Play in Game 3 After Birth of Child
Published at(NEW YORK) — Heat forward Chris Bosh is expected to play in Game 3 of Miami’s first-round series with the New York Knicks on Thursday after returning home for the birth of his child.
The Heat have listed Bosh as a game-time decision, despite previous reports he would be unavailable for Game 3 at Madison Square Garden. Miami leads the Knicks in their Eastern Conference first-round series 2-0. Sources tell ESPN that Bosh is expected to play.
“Having his presence would help even if he isn’t 100 percent,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “When we left we knew it could be any day.”
Bosh’s wife, Adrienne, gave birth to a boy, Jackson, at about 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
