“Desperate Housewives” Cast Attends Wrap Party

ABC/RON TOM(LOS ANGELES) — After eight seasons on the air, there are just two new episodes of ABC’s Desperate Housewives remaining. The cast and crew attended a wrap party in Hollywood Monday night. The final scenes were shot last Thursday.
Star Eva Longoria says she’s confident fans will enjoy the conclusion. “Everybody’s going to be so satisfied, it’s such as good finale. We were bawling at the table read. We were like, ‘that was so good.’ It was. It was great,” says Longoria. Co-star Vanessa Williams believes fans will be left wanting more.
Felicity Huffman has a “deep sense of gratitude” about her time on the series. Huffman says, “I think there’s a handful of shows that sort of catch lightning in a bottle and I’m lucky enough to be a part of one.”
The two-hour series finale of Desperate Housewives airs May 13.
