Downey Woman Killed in Crash

(DOWNEY) – An elderly woman was killed in a car accident near Downey Friday. 74-year-old Sharon Lake was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Daniel Babbit. Their vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup driven by 60-year-old William Hebb of Idaho Falls. The accident happened at the Lundgren Road intersection on U.S. Highway 91. Hebb was hospitalized for minor injuries and Babbit was unhurt. The crash is under investigation.
