(IDAHO FALLS) – A dangerous online scam is targeting eastern Idaho. KIDK reports that hackers are using a fake company known as “Microsoft Certified” to access computers remotely. Authorities say the scammers are trying to get victims to download a file, which then requires a $250 anti-virus package to remove. Those who have fallen prey to the scam are urged to call the Better Business Bureau at 342-4649.
