Lakers Defeat Nuggets In Game 7, 96-87

Los Angeles Lakers/NBA(LOS ANGELES) — Lakers forward Pau Gasol had 23 points, 17 rebounds and six assists as Los Angeles defeated the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series Saturday night, 96-87.
Returning from his seven-game suspension, Lakers forward Metta World Peace scored 15 points and had five rebounds.
“He played like Metta is capable of playing, both ends of the floor,” Lakers guard Kobe Bryant said of World Peace’s performance. “During his time off, he’s really used it as an advantage to get himself in tip top shape.”
Point guard Ty Lawson and forward Al Harrington led Denver with 24 points.
